Life is like a Box of Chocolates...

It's Karen and Wendy, at the White House Door.  Or rather back gate thereof.
Actually, the back entrance to the White House was more interesting than the front, because of protesters who were all protesting about different issues and spent more time arguing with each other than doing much protesting

Just wondering- if the name is on the car, then it's not a secret anymore?

Washington DC has many monuments, requiring many miles of walking. This is the Washington Monument which has just had a scale and clean and is like new again.

Trying to  create an illusionary photo -
 fail!

This is the  Reflection Pool. We re-enacted the Forrest and Jenny scene and got very wet.

Lincoln's Monument requires much stair climbing- sigh...

Arlington Cemetery, President Kennedy Grave, so sad

Bobby Kennedy's grave-
simple, yet moving,

Korean War Memorial, eerily and chilling

What we learned today:  Washington DC tells a story that must never be forgotten.

What else we learned today- how to  get lost in the
Washington Metro Underground.  Buy a ticker, then allow Karen to give directions.
