Albuquerque, jerky, perky and quirky

Today, while heading from Arizona to New Mexico, we came across a Petrified Forest.  Trees 500 million years old, turned to stone.

This tree was petrified, whereas.........

This one was  just moderately anxious.

Karen liked the look of Cowboy Craig who invited her into his tepee  which came with a carport!.

So it was on to Albuquerque, New Mexico  where we ate Italian food.  

What we learned today: New Mexico has some of the oldest rocks in the world.

Moving hotel rooms at midnight because the loo is broken is not fun.
